As I reflect on the past few months, I’m humbled with the overwhelming amount of support and love that has been shown to me and my family. Thank you to each and every one of you! I couldn’t have made it this far without you.
My name is Wesley “Cowboy” Wellington, and I am working to be your next North Half Constable. I started my career in law enforcement back in 2014 when I began working as a Jailer at the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department. From there, I went on to work at the Iuka Police Department where I was sent to the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer’s Training Academy. After graduating, I continued to work for both the Iuka Police Department and the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department, where I am currently employed as a full-time Deputy.
As your next North Half Constable, I will not make promises I cannot keep, but the one promise I will make is to uphold the duties of Constable to the best of my ability and to maintain the professionalism of the office.
By now, I’m sure most of you know the constitutional duties of a Constable:
I feel as though my training and experience both inside the jail and outside of it as a Deputy make me uniquely qualified to be your next North Half Constable. My work ethic runs as deep as my love and commitment for the county I serve, and I will continue to work hard to serve each of you.
If you’re looking for a full-time politician, I’m not your guy, but if you’re looking for someone who will continually put the citizens of Tishomingo County first, as I have been doing for the past 9 years, then I humbly ask for your vote on August 29, 2023.
Vote Wesley “Cowboy” Wellington. The RIGHT Experience. The RIGHT Choice. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.
