Alice Pearl Carlisle, 92, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. The funeral service was Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. A graveside service followed in Oak Grove Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, officiated by Bro. Billy Glover. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church and loved attending when she was able. Mrs. Alice enjoyed sewing, coloring, and reading. She was very sociable and loved talking to people and listening to records. Mrs. Alice is survived by her daughter, Patsy Puckett; her granddaughter, Leslie Brewer; her great-grandchildren, Harley Barrett and Patrick Hopkins; and her great-great-grandchildren, Effie Claire Razutis, Mekhaell Sullivan, and Jayden Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Carlisle, Jr.; her parents, Lilly Mae and Harvey Lewis; her six brothers; and her six sisters. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, Mississippi was entrusted with the arrangements. Pallbearers included Patrick Hopkins.
