Artie Blanche Cox, age 88 passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Cleve Cox, married for sixty-four years; son, Terry Cox (Paula); granddaughters, Randi Turner (Johnathan), and Emily Vestal (Michael); great granddaughter, Eden Grace Vestal; brother, Jerry Turner (Doris); sister, Betty Moore; a host of nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Cox; daughter-in-law, Lesa Elrod Cox; granddaughter, Kristin Cox; parents, Monroe and Dora Turner; brothers, Roe Turner and Jimmy Turner; sisters, Mary Belle Dick and Faye Lovelace. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She especially loved her granddaughters, and great granddaughter. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and all her flowers. She also lit up when she would see her great granddaughter’s pictures and videos. She was a member of South Crossroads Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2023, at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, Mississippi beginning at 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Allen Jones will be officiating. Interment will be in Burgess Creek Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS with no graveside service. A special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, nurse Laken Hayes, and other nurses and staff who took wonderful care of her over the past several years. A special thanks to Dr. Steve Senter.
