William Henry (Bill) Price, Jr. was born on October 6, 1930 in Starkville, Mississippi, the son of the late William Henry Price, Sr. and Veda Florence Carpenter Price.
Bill Price was the owner of Price’s BBQ in Adamsville, Tennessee, and Counce, Tennessee. He was previously employed as a civil engineer and construction superintendent for several companies and built numerous buildings in Lexington, Kentucky and in cities throughout the state of Tennessee; including Oak Ridge, Nashville, and Knoxville. He also owned Master Contractors and built commercial buildings all over the state of Mississippi.
He was a member of Pickwick Bassmasters in Counce, Tennessee.

William Henry (Bill) Price, Jr. departed this life on December 31, 2022 in Iuka, Mississippi at the age of 92 years, 2 months, and 25 days.
He is survived by his wife, Betty H. Price of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; son, William R. Price and his wife Nancy B. of Plano, Texas; stepson, Dennis Elliot; stepdaughter, Karen Corbin; sister, Jane Ann Turner of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Margaret Carol Andreescu and Rebecca Lynn Birmingham; and great-grandchildren, Eden Mae Demaree, Josephyne Lila Andreescu, and Cash Jeffrey Birmingham.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Lila Medley Price; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Price; grandson, William R. Price; and a great-grandson.
Memorial Services will be held on January 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Old Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at Iuka, Mississippi.
