Bobby Aldridge, age 78 passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a very proud soldier of the US Army and a Vietnam Vet. He was in the 548 th Engineer Battalion, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC from 1966-1974. Bobby enjoyed dancing, fishing, playingm pool, boating, and NASCAR. He especially loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Palestine Church. He is survived by his sons, Daniel C. Aldridge (Mary) and Thomas Aldridge (Kelly); daughter, Ramona Willis; grandchildren, Vicki, Daniel, D.J. (Jessica), Cody, Tyler, Sidney, and Matt. He was preceded by his wife, Betty Pruitt Aldridge; parents, Wess and Vera Aldridge; son, Robert Dale Aldridge; sister, Sue Gist; brother, Ken Aldridge.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, MS beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Tishomingo Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Danny Young officiating. After the service there will be a meal served at Bobbys home, 3 Third Ave. Tishomingo, MS. Pallbearers include Ronnie Aldridge, Tim “Pollock” Wisnieweski, Terry Woods, Daniel Aldridge, Cody Aldridge, and Matt Aldridge. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Bobby Aldridge.
