Charles Lee “Buddy” Hudson, age 82 passed away Monday, October 3, 2022. He enjoyed being a mechanic, working on the backhoe, dozer, mowers, tractors, gardening, coconut pineapple cakes, strawberry milkshakes, and caring for his family. He was a member of New Beginning Church. His is survived by his sons, Jerry Hudson (Peggy) and Larry Hudson (Gail); daughters, Linda Parrish, Tammy Richardson (Tommy), and Angel Parker (Richard); brother, Larry Ray Hudson (Brenda); sister, Patricia Spence; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Jo Hudson; parents, Clinton and Gladys Hudson; great grandson, Joshua Seth Guth; brothers, Donald Hudson and Robert Hudson; sisters, Polly Puckett, Louise White, and Dorothy Wilson; two sons-in-law, Nick Parrish and Dale Wilson. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Ludlam Funeral Home, Iuka, Mississippi beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at noon with an hour visitation prior beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Ron Norvell and Jerry Bonds.
Interment will be in Cypress Grove Cemetery, Iuka, Mississippi. Pallbearers include Matthew Hudson, Jonathan Hudson, Johnny Johnson, Micheal Braddy, Heathe Hudgins, Jeremy Thorn, and Cody Parker.
