De Wayne Davis, age 75 passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was an amazing fundraiser, and enjoyed helping people, woodworking, riding his Harley and dearly loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Davis; two sons, Travis Davis (Shawna), and Bruce Maki Jr.; three daughters, Kirsten Noda, Chelsea Schopper (George), and Mika Maki; one sister, Shearon Millar (Geoff); eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, De Roy Davis and Dorothy McBee Davis; two brothers, Douglas Davis and Billy Davis. Visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at Ludlam Funeral Home in Iuka, Mississippi beginning at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Ludlam Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Franks officiating. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery Mingo, Mississippi. Pallbearers include Bruce Maki Jr., Travis Davis, Lester Wilkison, George Schopper, Aaron Schopper, and Nolan Davis. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of De Wayne Davis.
