A celebration of life service for Clara Glover Cooper, 90, of Burnsville, Mississippi is scheduled for noon Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Billy Glover will officiate the service. Born October 30, 1932 in Southside, TN to David Crocket and Ivy Sanders Glover, Clara passed away in Iuka, Mississippi on November 6, 2022. She was of the Christian faith, a member of The Bridge in Burnsville, and a retired factory worker. She enjoyed visiting her family in Tennessee, spending time at the Tennessee River, taking walks and she loved children. Those left to honor Clara’s memory include her grandchildren, Paula Cooper Gaines, Lee Eric Cooper, and April Diane Waldrop (John); great grandchildren, Erin Marie Gains, Elissa Ivy Gaines, Nikki Cooper, Brylee Thomas, and Rhett Waldrop; great grandchild, Bentlee Cooper; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Cooper, Sr.; son, Leroy Cooper, Jr., parents, Dave and Ivy Glover; brothers, John D. Glover, Albert Glover, D.C. Glover, and Billy Glover, Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Gray, Ruby Jewel Glover, and Bonnie Ruth Tucker. Pallbearers will be Lee Eric Cooper, John Waldrop, Ben Glover, Remington Rodgers, Ryan Glover, and Zach Glover. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Clara Glover Cooper.
