Harold E. Taylor, Jr., 65, of Vestavia Hills, AL, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Noland Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He loved algebra and would spend hours working problems every day. Harold was an extremely active member of Vestavia Church of Christ. He was always smiling, full of joy and laughter, despite difficulties. Harold was very selfless and very well loved. He is survived by his mother, Marie Taylor; his brother, Kevin Taylor; his niece, Heather Pridmore (Matt); his nephew, Hunter Taylor; his aunt, Marie Oaks; and his great niece and nephew, Nevaeh Pridmore and Karson Pridmore. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold E. Taylor, Sr.; his grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Calley and Cline and Nellie Taylor; and his uncle, Billy Wayne Oaks. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery, officiated by Lance Foster. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
