Lawrence Dillard, age 83 passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023. He enjoyed working and mowing his yard keeping it beautiful. He is survived by his wife, Connie Dillard; two sons, Larry Dillard (Tina) and Lee Dillard (Rebecca); daughter, Robin Jones (Jim Murphy); sister, Annie Ruth Clark; grandchildren, Santanna Dillard, Matthew Jones, Josh Jones, Dakota Dillard, Jessie Dillard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Dillard; brothers, Joe Dillard, Hilton Dillard, Buddy Dillard, Earl Ray Dillard; granddaughter, Winter Cheyenne Dillard. Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2023, at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, Iuka, Mississippi. Funeral services were Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Roger Pounders and Bro. Gary Isbell. Pallbearers include Jim Murphy, Casey Stanford, John Hogood, Ronny McKee, Josh Jones, Dakota Dillard. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Brown and Tony Bacus. Interment will be in Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Ludlam Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Lawrence Dillard.
