Missy "MeMe" Kennedy, 58, Burnsville, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at her residence. She enjoyed attending and helping with bible study, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Edward Kennedy; her children, Jamie Parker of Shannon, MS and Sam Parker of Florence, AL; her step-son, Jonathan Kennedy (Tashauna); her grandchildren, Hunter and Jordan Kennedy and Mason and Emma Parker; and her brothers, Michael Underwood of Saltillo, MS and Mark Underwood (Marissa) of Columbus, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Wilma Maddox Underwood.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Ed Kennedy. Burial will follow in Burnt Fields Cemetery in Itawamba County.
