Obituary of Brian Bishop

Brian Bishop passed away unexpectedly on August4, 2024 in Panama City, Panama at the age of 50. Born on November 12,1973 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He leaves behind his two children Christopher Brian Bishop and Sophia Freda Bishop and their Mother Hristina Bishop. His parents Keith Wells Bishop and Barbara Parsons Bishop and sisters Traci Madina Bishop and Romela Asher, two uncles Sammy D. Parsons and Lyndon W. Parsons

Brian graduated in 1992 from Hartselle High School. While in school he served as an officer for the Key Club in the state of Alabama. He loved playing his guitar and played in the jazz band. Brian studied at the University of Montevallo his freshman year then transferred to USA in Mobile and graduated with a BS degree in Business. He obtained his pilot license while in Mobile. After graduating from USA, he served in the Peace Corps in Tashkent Uzbekistan. After returning to the states, he attended the University of Dubuque and received his Master’s in Finance.

His career was with the United Department of State serving with the Embassies in The Ivory Coast, Bulgaria, Austria, Senegal, and Jordan.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald W. Parsons and Lyda Rhodes Parsons and Spencer Hilliard Bishop and Freda McDonald Bishop.

"Per his will, his ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico and arrangements are currently being made"

For life and death are one, even as the river and sea are one.
