She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, and was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her nieces, Tracy South (Elmer) and Debra Wilson; and a host of great-nephews and a great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Parsons; her parents, Bill and Reba Thorne Franks; her daughter, Diane Boothe; and her sister, Anita Yow.
