Marion Emogene Barton, 87, of Germantown, Tennessee, died on Monday, August 19, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Emogene was of the Baptist faith and was a longtime member of Germantown Baptist Church. In her free time, she loved gardening and working in her yard.
Mrs. Emogene is survived by her husband of 42 years, Frank Barton; her daughter, Bonita Claunch (Billy); her grandson, Rodney Cornelison (Angie); her great-grandchildren, Austin Cornelison and Ali Cornelison; her siblings, Doyle Booker, Maudie Short, and Kenneth Booker; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Lee Booker; and her brother, Roy Booker.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, officiated by Bro. Terry Booker.
Pallbearers include Rodney Cornelison, Austin Cornelison, Robert Yager, Jason Smith, Cecil Smith, and Joey Smith. Interment will be in Snowdown Cemetery.
