Raymond Harold Aldridge, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1932 in Tishomingo County in the Midway Community to Edwin and Esther Aldridge. He was the oldest of seven children. He worked as a logger and a farmer. He could grow anything and enjoyed doing so. He loved observing nature, including watching the birds visit his bird feeders. He loved dogs and always had one to keep him company. He enjoyed going for car rides, especially to visit the Amish communities in Tennessee. Harold is survived by two brothers, Pat Aldridge and Jimmy Aldridge (Barbara), as well as several nieces and nephews and other extended family. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Aldridge; his parents, Edwin and Esther Wynn Aldridge; one brother, Joe Aldridge; and three sisters, Mary Bugg, Rose Robertson, and Evelyn Long. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Scott Woodruff. Burial will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Hannon, Shelby Hutchings, Brandon Kamarainen, Dakota Keeton, Brad Moss, and Anthony Cooksey. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
