Robert Howell “Bob” Hamlin, 67, passed away November 3, 2022 at his residence in Perryville, Tennessee. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
He was born on April 15, 1955 to Jessie Willard Hamlin and Lola Mae Hamlin. He grew up in Biggersville where he also attended school. He was a longtime member of Biggersville First Baptist Church. Bob was a retired truck driver and spent many years of employment at Pittman Bros. Gas, Tull Bros., and most recently at Magnolia Freight. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His favorite pastime was being outdoors and taking rides on his boat. He was an avid fisherman. Bob was known for his very early morning Facebook posts urging his virtual friends to “wake up…it’s coffee time”.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Hamlin of Belmont; his grandchildren, Abby Hamlin and Mason Williams of Belmont; companion, Theresa Huggins of Perryville, TN; sisters, Pam Medley (Tim), Ann Faulkner (John) and Seleta Howell (Gina); and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stephanie Hamlin; and brothers, Pete and Larry Hamlin.
