DENNIS, MS – Tulon Dyon Rushing, 94, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Dennis, MS to Lee Wister and Esther Blunt Rushing. He was retired from Golden Manufacturing as a sewing machine mechanic. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, 5 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Daily officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Rushing Reed and Paula Ann Rushing (Richard Thompson); grandchildren, Kerry T. Loveless (Amy), Melanie Arnold, Sandy Donahue (Ronnie) and Dyon Reed; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jordan Arnold, Payton Arnold, Dalton and Conner Donahue, Jodi, Kara and Todd Loveless and Kendahl Reed; great-great grandchildren, Lilly Harrell and Malia Arnold and his best friends, Joe Browning and Mike Butler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Mae Solomon Rushing; two brothers, David and Jr. Rushing; two sisters, Opal Malone and Willa Mills and his parents.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Kerry Loveless, Dyon Reed, Jordan Arnold, Payton Arnold, Dalton Donahue, Conner Donahue and Todd Loveless.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 3-5 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
