Tuscumbia, Alabama - Stephanie Ann Booker “Flossie” Phifer, 46, Tuscumbia, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, March 10, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. A graveside service will be Saturday, March 11, at Eastport Baptist Church Cemetery, Iuka, Mississippi beginning at 11 a.m. with Dr. Randall Little officiating.
Stephanie was a member of Eastport Baptist Church and was employed by Huntsville Hospital Heart Center for eighteen years. She was an avid runner and made many special friends along the way. She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Ray Booker.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Benny Phifer; mother, Peggy Nunley Booker; brother, Eric Booker (Heather); brother-in-law, Kenny Phifer (Nan); nieces, Ashley Booker, Madelyn Booker, and Lindsey Casabella (Ryan); nephews, Sean Glidewell, Grant Phifer (Anna Grace), and Jonathan Phifer (Nicole); and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Butterfly Foundation.
