Veston Eudell Chase, 88, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
He was born June 21, 1935, to Luther Clayton and Noda Lois Chase. He worked several jobs over his life. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed listening to music, making musical instruments, and cars.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2 pm Thursday, July 27, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 2 pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara Chase; three sons, Michael Chase, Tim Chase (Lisa) and Greg Chase (Karen); one daughter, Beverly Medley (Joey); one brother, Bobby Chase (Vivian); three sisters, Linda Hooper, Sadie Gist, and Oreda Russell; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gerald Chase and Danny Chase; and one sister, Ernestine Baker.
