William Floyd Henry, 93, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Tishomingo Manor, Iuka, MS. He was born in Piney Grove, MS, to Louis Edward and Autie Ward Henry. Floyd was Quality Control Manager at Winfield Manufacturing/National Apparel and attended First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Services were Saturday, November 18, at 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Belmont, MS, with Bro. Ray Burks officiating. Burial was in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS, was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three children, Mark Henry (Donna), Georgia Lee (Ralph), and Lisa Thrasher (Kerry); grandchildren, Matthew Henry (Harlee), Anna Long (Jeff), Katie Cain (Ben), Kerisa Burns (J.R.), and Drew Henry; great-grandchildren, Eli Long, Sarah Beth Long, Evelyn Cain, Mattox Henry, and Owen Henry.
He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Ann Floreed Moore Henry; an infant son, Stephen Ward Henry, his parents, and siblings, Neal Henry, Dorothy Davis, and Lylia Prentiss.
Pallbearers were the deacons of First Baptist Church.
