Community Development Block Grant - Economic Development Program

Tishomingo County was recently the recipient of a grant from the Mississippi Department Authority, Community Services Division, through funding made available by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for an Economic Development / Public Infrastructure improvement project. A public meeting will be held at the Tishomingo County Board Room located at 1008 Battleground Drive, Iuka, Mississippi 38852 on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of this meeting is to provide citizens with information regarding the progress of the Economic Development Public Infrastructure Grant project for the Walker Switch Water improvements made within the County that will benefit the residents of the County. All comments are welcome. The location for this hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. If a translator is needed for non-English speaking persons, please contact Michael Busby at 662-423-7010 at least three days prior to the meeting in an effort to accommodate this request.
